The Northstar Institute for Continuing Education (NICE) is the educational arm of NorthStar Mortgage Advisors. Our mission is simple: give Georgia and Alabama real estate professionals the practical knowledge they need to guide clients confidently through the mortgage process.
Our courses are taught by working mortgage professionals — not career lecturers. You'll learn from people who write loans, structure deals, and sit across the table from buyers every week. That means classes that are current, honest, and immediately useful in your practice.
Quick answers about how NICE courses count toward your Georgia or Alabama real estate continuing education requirement.
NICE is approved by the Georgia Real Estate Commission (School #8235) and licensed by the Alabama Real Estate Commission (School #00174575-0). Credits report directly to the appropriate state board after your class.
Georgia salespersons need 36 hours of CE per renewal cycle, including 3 hours of License Law. Alabama licensees need 15 hours every two years (3 mandatory Risk Management + 12 electives) by September 30 of each even year. Check your balance at the GREC or AREC online portal.
You'll receive a certificate of completion for every NICE course you finish. Keep copies for your records in case of audit.
